anw, yay! today wasa proudproud day! :D THE PART BS GOT FIRST FOR ORIENTEERING! firstfirstfirstfirst! :D but you know what, even if they didnt get first; we'd still be ultra proud of them.
because when they came running in, on their faces was not tiredness nor was it the face of defeat; they ran in, charging forward with Cedar's name on high. the way they ran in, up till the end point, with the faces of determination and success. the faces of champions.
it was written all over them, that they had done their best; they didnt even need to tell us that. (: that was the proudest moment of the day. it was such a feeling that i had goosebumps. kathleen said she felt so proud. well, it was the proudest moment of the day; for us.
anyway i decided to blog about this cos i entered an entry on orienteering com last year too. last yr : 91 points, second. this yr: 73 points, FIRST. well done part bs. you didnt let us down; you made us all proud. well, they shouldnt be reading this, but, well.
